For so long there were was never an option as to how you can safely secure your beverage of choice while rafting. You can always try fate by putting it next to you and if the rapid were to take the drink, it wasn’t meant to be.

That method doesn’t seem to be the most economical, or eco-friendly I might add.

Finally there are more than one option!

Option 1: Crossbar Beverage Cooler

The Aluminum Crossbar Cooler keeps your ice-cold beverage within easy reach while floating the river. The Crossbar Cooler connects directly to your frame in the location of your choice. Now you won’t miss a stroke of your paddle or a single cast when you reach for your soda or beer. The Crossbar Cooler comes complete with a u-bolt for proper frame attachment as well as a complimentary insulated beverage holder.

Made with 6061 aluminum and weighs roughly one pound. We offer 2 different sizes. The large fits frame diameters up to 1 5/8 – NRS Frames. The small fits frame diameters around 1 3/8 – Cambridge Welding & Steel Recretec Frames.

Cascade’s Review:  This option might be the most expensive option, but it is, by far, the most permanent option. The only way you’re losing this drink holder is if you lose your frame. At that point, I’m sure you have better things to worry about.

Option 2: NRS U-Bolt Drink Holder

No more scrambling to put your drink in a safe spot during some unexpected maneuvering. The NRS U-Bolt Drink Holder attaches securely to any crossbar and has a lid with a hook and loop closure.

Holder includes an aluminum plate with a standard NRS U-bolt, internal insulated nylon “coozie”, hook-and-loop tab and a mesh bottom allows liquid to drain out freely and makes cleaning a snap.

Cascade’s Review:  The 2 part system makes this drink holder a less permanent solution, but is nice because you do not have to remove your drink from the pouch when grabbing a drink. Lid is great because you no longer have to worry about the river water splashing in without your knowledge.

Take along a Can-panion® for a leisure trip down the river or on the lake.

Attach the Can-panion® to Boats, frames, tables, chairs…

Note: Ideal frame diameter 1 3/8″.

Will fit cans, bottles, Nalgene®, and most other beverages.
